Passion knows 2010 is the year to break out!
In November 2009 we finally got word that we received charitable status in Canada which is very exciting. This opens so many more doors to us as a non profit.
As a result we are working on taking things to next level with our work here in Vancouver.
Now that my book is complete (our core life skills series) as soon as I return from Uganda and Kenya next month we will be hosting an event world cafe style on March 6th in Vancouver, BC.
Tonight I got confirmation that Rae Chois of Erickson College will be our MC for the evening and all our amazing volunteers will be present. We are going to open the event to 50 people to come and join us in seeing footage from my trip, learn about our local and sista projects, as well as listen to the feedback from local young women who have been supported by our programming. To finish the evening we will be holding a world cafe style set up where attendees can share ideas, give input, share resources, and support our movement.
